In this verse the Lord reiterates how seriously He takes the covenants He has made with mankind (see also the title page of the Book of Mormon; 3 Nephi 20–21). The Book of Mormon, the restoration of the gospel, and the gathering of Israel are all part of the “marvelous work” God is performing so He can keep His covenants with us. What have you experienced in your life that demonstrates that your Heavenly Father is keeping His promises to you to bless you and guide you and perhaps correct you? What more could you do to better keep the covenants you have made with Him?
