“The Words Which He Shall Speak… Shall Be the Law”
Christ’s word is law. It is gospel. Nephi would later explain to his people concerning the gospel or the “doctrine of Christ.” He taught his people that “there will be no more doctrine given until after [Christ] shall manifest himself unto you in the flesh” (2 Nephi 32:6), Once the Master appeared to the Nephites, he announced the fulfillment of the Law of Moses and identified himself as the law (see 3 Nephi 15:9).
