“Wherefore, they are of worth” because they are directly relevant to the future of the Nephites. Just as Isaiah prophesied in such a way that Israel and Judah could see their future (and perhaps repent to prevent it) so too will Isaiah’s prophecies be applicable to the future of the Nephites (who may perhaps repent to prevent that dire future).
