The 1874 RLDS edition accidentally replaced the plural nations (the King James reading) with the singular nation. The error was followed by the subsequent RLDS edition (1892), but the 1908 RLDS edition corrected this typo. The previous verse (2 Nephi 24:17) refers to the entire world and its cities; thus the reference to the “all the kings of the nations” is appropriate. The Hebrew original also has the plural nations.
