This brief chapter is the song of Israel following her redemption. The miraculous manner in which God's chosen remnant will be converted, gather, cleansed, and magnified in the latter days will be a marvelous thing to behold.
The people of Israel will be so moved by these great events that they will "cry out and shout" in exalted joy. No longer will the Savior be hidden in eternity, but he will minister among them. He will be in their midst and "among the people."
