“In the coming Millennial day, Israel—which … had been divided into two divisive, warring, rebellious kingdoms: the Kingdom of Israel, with its Ten Tribes and the Kingdom of Judah, with the residue; two kingdoms long since destroyed and taken captive, … scattered in all the earth—Israel shall again become one nation, upon the mountains of Israel. … After the Lord returns, a highway shall be cast up—Isaiah calls it the way of holiness where none of the unclean can pass, meaning that it is the strait and narrow path leading to eternal life—and upon this highway the Ten Tribes shall return” (McConkie, New Witness, 641–42).
