Literature: This fourth and final stanza in Isaiah’s poem-prophecy returns to the theme of the leaders’ iniquity, since they are the only ones with authority to make “unrighteous decrees.” When they “write grievousness” they are enacting the decrees. The act of writing is the same as implementing them.
