“Consecrate This Land”
The word consecrate means to “Separate or make sacred.” The Americas have been set apart or dedicated for sacred purposes. Palestine is known to us as the Holy Land, yet the land of America is no less so, and if judgment is made on the basis of the histories of its peoples the Americas perhaps have a more rightful claim to that honored name.
