We have already seen these verses in 1 Nephi 21:22–23. Jacob also used this text from Isaiah 49 to initiate his great discourse. The standard—the Savior’s gospel and Church—is set up to tenderly gather the people to the truth. Even kings and queens are used as instruments in the Lord’s hands to facilitate the great gathering. People will be able to see the Lord’s hand in it.
