Who else shares Nephi’s need and desire for deliverance and help?

Thomas R. Valletta

“The most noble of souls, the greatest of prophets, need heaven’s help to endure in faith to the end. Joseph Fielding Smith, even in his ninety-fifth year, and notwithstanding his position as the President of the Church, frequently said, ‘I pray that I may be true and faithful to the end.’ Never have such sentiments been stated more beautifully than they are in our present text by Nephi” (McConkie and Millet, Doctrinal Commentary, 1:219).
