Lehi's testimony that Christ made intercession for all is in harmony with the testimony of Paul, who taught, “There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all” (1 Timothy 2:5-6). Christ alone is our mediator, intercessor, and advocate with the Father. To seek others as mediators between ourselves and God is to deny Christ's role as Redeemer and Savior.
