It is not impossible that the name "Ammoron" still survives in the Aymara linguistic stock in South America, which some students consider a member of the Kechua stock, while Dr. Brinton treats it as a distinct linguistic stock. The name Zoram is, probably from the Hebrew, "Zur," a rock, 31:1). There was also, at one time, an apostate sect, Zoramites, in the country of Antionum.
