“Having All the Commandments from the Beginning”
The doctrines and ordinances of salvation do not vary from one dispensation to the next. To know the principles of salvation in one day and age is to know them in all others. The Nephites enjoyed the fulness of the gospel, as had the righteous in the days of Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham and other great prophets (see D&C 20:21-27; D&C 138:12-14).
