“For I Durst Not Speak Further As Yet Concerning These Things”

W. Cleon Skousen

There are two times in Nephi's writings when he gets close to treading on prophecies that were reserved for John the Revelator. He suddenly feels as though he may be approaching the forbidden territory right now. Therefore he says, "I durst not speak further as yet concerning these things." We get the feeling that he is bursting with anxiety to tell us more about what he knows, but he durst not at this time.
