Now Nephi is ready to take these chapters from Isaiah and embellish them with the vital details from his own revelations. He glories in Isaiah because he and his father understand Isaiah. They even know the parts Isaiah left out.
One may have supposed that the elder brothers of Nephi might not have had the interest or patience to hear these two chapters of Isaiah, but they apparently not only listened but wondered if Isaiah was talking about earthly prophetic events or just speaking of things spiritual.
