“Their Pastures Shall Be in All High Places”
Mountains have so frequently been the meeting place between God and men that temples built for the same purpose were known among the ancients as the “mountain of the Lord.” Since temples are the focal points of true religion, a restoration of the gospel must include the restoration of temple ritual and the return of Israel to “the mountain of the Lord's house,” where they can learn to walk in the paths of the God of Jacob.
