In addition to Jacob and Joseph, were there other children born in the wilderness?

Thomas R. Valletta

“We are here informed that two sons, Jacob and Joseph, were born to Lehi in the wilderness. … They were eight years in the wilderness. (See 1 Ne. 17:20.) Those that entered the ship were, Lehi and Sariah, his wife; Laman and his wife; Lemuel and his wife; Sam and his wife; Nephi and his wife; … two sons of Ishmael and their families (1 Ne. 7:6); Zoram and his wife (1 Ne. 16:7); Jacob and Joseph and others who may have been born in the wilderness. Elder George Reynolds … estimates the entire number that landed in the land of promise at from 60 to 80 souls” (Reynolds and Sjodahl, Commentary on the Book of Mormon, 185).
