“His Children… Should Possess It”
The earth was created to be the possession of the children of God. Their claims to inheritance on it must be founded in righteousness, The wicked and ungodly have no rightful claim to any lands of inheritance. For instance, God promised Abraham’s posterity the land of Palestine as an everlasting possession, when they hearkened to his voice (see Abraham 2:6).
