“‘Of a truth,’ Peter declared, ‘God is no respecter of persons: but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him’ (Acts 10:34–35). He loves all of his children. But his love is not unconditional in the sense of treating all of his children alike; men and women are rewarded or punished according to their works (see Romans 2:11; Colossians 3:25).
