“The Lamb of God is the Son of the Eternal Father”
All of these records together, and each of them separately, bear witness that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, and that salvation comes through him and his holy name and in no other way. The 1830 edition of the Book of Mormon reads as follows for this segment of this verse: “ . . . that the Lamb of God is the Eternal Father, and the Savior of the world” (italics added).
