Only the Bible was mentioned in verse 38. In this verse there are other books that will also bring the gospel message to the Gentiles. The clear reference is to the Book of Mormon (vv. 35–36). Of course the Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price serve the same purpose.
