The original text here conjoins two finite verb forms. In his copying from 𝓞 to 𝓟, Oliver Cowdery initially wrote partake instead of the original partook, thus conjoining two infinitive verb forms. Some time later, with a sharper quill and perhaps darker ink, Oliver corrected 𝓟 to agree with 𝓞. But the 1830 compositor nonetheless typeset partake.
