Note* Nephi states that he would "give commandment unto my seed, that they shall not occupy these plates with things which are not of worth unto the children of men" (1 Nephi 6:6). In view of this statement, students of the Book of Mormon should be very wary of discounting the geographical or cultural phrases as having just "incidental" worth in connecting the doctrinal passages.
