“An Account of the Creation of the World”
The brass plates contained a more extensive account of the Creation than that which is available in our present biblical record (see 1 Nephi 13:23). We suppose the account was similar to that which we now have received through the Prophet Joseph Smith’s inspired translation of the early chapters of Genesis (JST, Genesis 1-2; Moses 2-3).
