This was fantastic. It was one thing for Nephi to look like Laban, but to talk to his servant was dangerous in the very extreme. Perhaps Nephi adopted the drunken slur of Laban or otherwise imitated the general. Or maybe the Lord had a hand in making the servant think he was hearing the voice of General Laban. Whatever the explanation. we know it never dawned on the servant that he was talking to the man who had just killed his master.
